1) Acceptance

By adding or using the Haven Bean Helper Discord bot (“Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a server (“Guild”), you confirm you have permission to do so.

2) Eligibility

You must meet Discord’s minimum age and comply with Discord’s Terms and Community Guidelines. The Service is intended for server admins and moderators with appropriate permissions.

3) What the Service Does

The Service posts Twitch live alerts and clips, and offers configuration via a dashboard. Core functions include:

• Tracking specified Twitch channels and posting alerts/clips to configured Discord channels.
• Optional creation/cleanup of Discord scheduled events while a stream is live.
• Role-mention controls and per-guild settings.

4) Data We Process

To operate, the Service may process the following limited data:

• Guild ID, channel IDs, role IDs, message IDs, scheduled event IDs.
• Twitch usernames/IDs and public metadata (e.g., titles, thumbnails, offline banners).
• Your configuration choices (e.g., which roles to mention, which channels to post in).

We do not read general message contents beyond what’s necessary to respond to commands or required by Discord events. Configuration data is retained while the bot stays in your server and may be deleted within a reasonable period (up to 30 days) after removal.

5) Your Responsibilities

• Ensure you have rights to enable mentions and post content in the target channels.
• Comply with Discord and Twitch terms, and all applicable laws.
• Use fair and reasonable configurations that do not spam users.

6) Prohibited Use

• Abuse, harassment, unlawful content, or evasion of Discord/Twitch rules.
• Attempting to overload, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or circumvent rate limits or security.
• Misleading users about the Service’s capabilities or affiliation.

7) Availability & Changes

The Service is provided “as is” and may change, pause, or stop at any time without notice. Features can be added/removed and configurations may be migrated for stability and abuse prevention.

8) Third-Party Services

The Service interacts with Discord and Twitch. Their terms and availability govern related functionality. Haven Bean Helper is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord or Twitch.

9) Intellectual Property

All rights to the Service’s code, branding, and features remain with the owner. Third-party trademarks and content remain the property of their respective owners.

10) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms or misuse. You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the bot from your server and clearing any dashboard sessions.

11) Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, including uptime, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Data loss, missed alerts, and thumbnail/link breakage may occur due to third-party API behavior.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall we be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amounts you paid to use the Service (typically €0).

13) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Service, your configurations, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.

14) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue shall be the competent courts where the Service owner is established.
